School Nurse 220-Day – SSTLC
Salary/Pay Rate: $37,463 – $51,672 (Annual wage per contract: SABEA SRP Contract)

Location: Sanford Street TLC, Glens Falls, NY
Work Hours: M – F ; 8:00 – 2:30
The school nurse will provide professional nursing services that enhance the entire school community’s health and well-being. Serve as an advocate for students, families and the school community. Provide age-appropriate and culturally congruent care to students and the school community. Demonstrate high levels of competence in the area of school nursing and adhere to high ethical standards. To support the health, well-being and academic success of students in keeping with the standards of nursing. The services provided by the School Nurse include: health care delivery, health counseling, and health program and policy development.

School Nurse – Myers
Salary Range: $31,162 -$42,982, commensurate with experience

Location: F. Donald Myers Education Center, Saratoga Springs & Various Locations (as needed)
Work Hours: M – F ; 8:00 – 2:30
This is a professional nursing position involving responsibility for giving care to students and for performing related nursing services such as pupil health screening and notification of defects and communicable disease control requiring judgment and skills. This position differs from the certificated position of School Nurse-Teacher in that there is no responsibility for either classroom instruction or guidance involved. The work is performed under the general direction of a School Physician or School Nurse-Teacher. Supervision may be exercised over the work of clerical assistants.
