  • Job Recruitment events are held in The Saratoga County Career Center on the first Thursday of every month and in The Warren County Career Center on the third Thursday of every month

Veteran Services Information

You served your Country well, now let us serve you!  As a veteran, you receive priority service in all New York State Career Centers.  We have Veteran’s Employment Representatives, who are veterans themselves, specifically trained to assist you in transitioning from the military, finding a new job, or starting a new career!  Some of the services we provide include:

What is PUSH training?

Receive training in:

      • Customer Service

      • Teamwork
      • Problem Solving
      • Local Tourism Experience
      • Effective Communication
      • Time Management

Who is eligible?

      • Any Saratoga, Warren or Washington County residents aged 14 and older

When does PUSH training begin and end?

      • Training is happening now and open enrollment is ongoing
      • 19 hours online

The workforce development board and system will help you get your new career started today. We offer multiple services that can be tailored to meet your specific needs.

Training & Education Information

Have you thought about going back to school to start a new career?  Please come in and talk with one of our Career Counselors to discuss a new career path today.  Funds may be available to individuals for classroom/occupational skills training, or On-the-Job Training.  To receive funding the training you take must be completed in two years or less and can take place at traditional colleges or vocational schools.  Areas of study include, but are not limited to Licensed Practical Nursing, Medical Transcription, Medical and Dental Assisting, Security Guard Training, CDL-A Truck Driving, Computer Applications and Computer Networking. For further information on in demand occupations in your region please click here.
